Canopy by Copp Oak
Cookies and tracking
Effective October 28, 2026.
1. The short version
- This website, coppoak.com, including the Canopy pages, loads one tracker: the Meta Pixel. It tells Meta Platforms which pages you visit, so we can measure and improve our advertising on Meta.
- The Canopy service itself (the connector AI assistants use, confirmation pages and the Operator dashboard) does not load the Meta Pixel, and Canopy does not send booking or customer information to Meta.
- There is no consent banner on this website. This page tells you what loads, and how to block it.
2. What loads on this website
| Technology | Provider | Where | What it does | Why |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Meta Pixel (ID 1478469994137754) | Meta Platforms, Inc. | Every page of coppoak.com, including the Canopy pages | Loads Meta’s script from connect.facebook.net and sends Meta a page-view event for each page you open, with your browser and device details and Meta’s cookies. Without JavaScript, a 1-pixel image sends the same page-view event. | To measure and improve Copp Oak’s advertising on Meta. |
Meta decides which cookies its script sets and how long they last. Meta’s own cookies policy and privacy policy govern what Meta does with the information it receives.
The website also carries a Facebook domain-verification tag. It is a line of text in the page that proves to Meta that Copp Oak owns the domain. It does not load anything or set a cookie.
3. The Canopy service
The Canopy service uses only the cookies it needs to work: the Operator sign-in session, a short-lived cookie on the confirmation page for the booking you just confirmed, and a security cookie used while an Operator connects a CRM. It uses no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and no third-party tracking pixels. Section 13 of the Canopy Privacy Policy describes these cookies.
4. How to block the Meta Pixel
- Block third-party cookies, or scripts from connect.facebook.net, in your browser settings or with a content blocker.
- Clear the cookies for coppoak.com in your browser.
- If you have a Facebook or Instagram account, you can manage how Meta uses activity from other websites in your Meta account settings.
Blocking the Meta Pixel does not affect anything you can do on this website or with Canopy.
5. Changes
If we add or remove a tracker, we update this page, the Trust page and the date at the top before the change goes live.
